Oatmeal with a kick!
Breakfast is my favorite meal!
My absolute FAVORITE!
I could seriously eat breakfast all day, everyday, at every time and in every way.
Which is a good thing right? I mean they say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day... So this must mean I should eat breakfast food for every meal right?
One of my tricks for getting full and staying full is eating a meal with a variety of textures. My little taste buds and mind become engaged in the alternating crunch and creamy textures which causes me to eat more slowly and savor what I'm eating.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to eat slowly. It gives your stomach the time it needs to realize that it's full and to tell your brain to put down the fork!
So add some variety to your breakfast! Throw some nuts in your yogurt or some fresh berries in your cereal!
